We cannot wait to see you aboard the Henrietta III for one of our sightseeing cruises that will take you up and down the Cape Fear River. Many cruises will include narration from our very own Captain so you’ll know what to look for.
Whether you’re joining us for a daytime lunch/sighting tour, evening dinner cruise, or a private charter, there are a few things you will want to plan to bring to ensure the best experience possible.
***Please note that many of these items are not required. There will be sheltered areas available for our guests both indoors and outdoors for all cruises.***
Your Companion, Family, & Friends
A Cape Fear River sightseeing water tour is way more fun when you have people to share it with! Bring the whole family. Look for children’s prices for kids 2-12 and note that kids 2 and under are FREE!
Camera/Video Recording Device (MAKE SURE IT’S CHARGED!)
Just about everyone has a camera and recording ability on their phone these days, so we know you’ll have that with you. But consider bringing your professional grade camera for those shots you may want to get printed on canvas or share as your next Facebook Cover Photo.
Hats are not essential since you will have the option to stay under shaded area or inside one of the dining areas during the tour, this really only pertains to those riding during the daytime who plan to take full advantage of exploring all the levels of the Henrietta III. A hat will help you stay cool and protected from the sun during hot, Summer months.
You will have a great view of all the sites we’ll see on the Wilmington water tour of the Cape Fear River, however, you can get an ever closer look if you bring a pair of binoculars.
Most of us have these with us anytime we plan to be spending time in the sun. Make sure to remember yours so you are not squinting in all the amazing photos you’ll be taking. (Cigars optional)
We couldn’t resist this one. Unlike Disney, these are not banned at our attraction! Just do us a favor and post your favorite selfie to our Facebook Page.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket office in front of the Henrietta III on South Water Street.
There are 3 decks on the Henrietta III. While high heels look great, you may have trouble climbing the stairs to explore the different decks. These will also come in handy if you’re on a dinner cruise or private charter where dancing is encouraged.
Light Jacket/Long Sleeves
In the Spring and Fall months, it’s not uncommon for the evening cruises to get chili. Make sure to layer or pack a jacket.
A Great Attitude
Our crew is here to make sure you have an incredible experience on our historic riverboat as we cruise along the Cape Fear River. If you come prepared to have a great time, you will!
Photo ID if You Plan to Drink
We have a fully stocked bar and snack bar on board. We’re happy to serve anyone of age!
