A Riverboat Cruise Rounds Out a Holly Jolly Holiday

Admire downtown Wilmington from the best vantage point: The Cape Fear River! Take a break from the hustle and bustle of holiday festivities and shopping to cruise on the Cape Fear aboard one of our three riverboats: the Capt. J.N. Maffitt, the John Knox, and Jacob’s Run. Downtown Wilmington never looked so beautiful, and you’ll get a moment of peace and nature during a busy season.

Head down to our ticket booth right on the Riverwalk at the foot of Dock Street, or check out our Cruise Calendar and book a cruise online. While you’re in the neighborhood, feel free to grab a bite or a beverage at our terrific dockside River Grill! We’re famous for our riverside burgers, and you can’t go wrong with a casual meal and a wonderful river view.

The Holly Jolly Holiday Stroll is presented by the Arts Council of Wilmington and New Hanover County, Downtown Wilmington Incorporated, the Downtown Business Alliance and the Residents of Old Wilmington. Holly Jolly hours are Dec. 9 from 4:30 to 8 p.m., and Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Don’t miss it!
