Federal Courthouse

The Alton Lennon Federal Building and Courthouse, built in 1919, stretches an entire block along Wilmington’s Riverwalk. The steps and fountain are popular gathering spots in pleasant weather.

Farmers Market

Area farmers, crafters, and artists sell their wares each Saturday morning at the foot of Princess Street.

Chandler’s Wharf

Shops, galleries, and dining at the south end of Wilmington’s historic district are located in the historic Chandler’s Wharf at the foot of Ann Street.

Old Wilmington City Market

A variety of shops fill this historic building overlooking the Wilmington Riverwalk. Here you’ll find food, wine, art, and lots of places to browse.

Horse-Drawn Carriages

Costumed drivers and rescued horses give sightseeing tours from the foot of Market Street. Choose carriage rides or the horse-drawn trolley.
